E-mail 8/8/08 - Introductory Letter

I pray that you are all well, and that you are having a very restful and joy filled summer. The teachers and I are all really excited abput this upcoming dance year. It is such a priveledge to share together with all of the dancers our love for the Lord by using devotions, prayer, praise & worship, and then the special benefit of strengthening and training our bodies while learning classical ballet, modern, pointe or tap.

Please find the attached Registration, Injury Release, Emergency Medical & Volunteer Forms. These four forms will need to be filled out and turned in for all students. If you or your daughter/daughters are going to be a dance Company Member (by permission) then you will need to also fill out the Company Guidelines Form.

I would like to ask all the families from this past dance year (2007-2008) to let me know if your children will be returning to our ministry or not. Please drop me an e-mail by Friday, August 22, 2009. This will help me to finalize the 2008 - 2009 class schedules, and help me to set up classes for our new students. Thank you for taking the time to let me know your decisions.

Just a quick note: The offices of Praise His Name With Dancing will be closed from Saturday, August 9 till Tuesday, August 19, 2009. I will be able to answer any questions on or after Tuesday, August 19, 2009.

I am grateful to God for all of you! May the Lord make your path clear, and direct your in your decisions for this upcoming school year.

God Blessings & Peace,
Diana Hoffman

E-mail 8/20/08 - Clarifications About Junior Company

I am grateful to God for all of you and your patience with me. It was brought to my attention that Junior Company classes and title are not clear. Let me try to explain.

1. There is Junior Company class at 3:45 - 5:15 on Mondays.

2. Junior I & Junior II have been merged into one company. Junior II has been faithfully persuing summer classes for years and each of them have been taking 3 classes per year so they have moved into the Junior technical level. Congratulations to the former Junior II for your hard work and dedication! You have done a great job!

3. There are many more options for Junior Company member's class times based on your schedule.
A. 3:45 - 5:15 Monday (I will possibly keep the two former companies separate on Mondays, but I have not heard from everyone to know if it is possible.)
B. 1:00- 2:30 Wednesday Pointe or Ballet
C. 2:30-3:45 Wednesday Modern
D. 6:45-8:15 Thursday Pointe or Ballet
E. 8:15-9:30 Thursday Modern

4. I would still like everyone to take a minimum of three classes. Now with this schedule there is an option for more than three classes if you are interested.

5. I have re-attached the Company Guidelines sheet with the Monday 3:45 class time on it.

I pray that this clears things up for you. I still need to hear from everyone, so that I can finalize my schedule plans. The deadline for notifying me about your return is this Friday, August 22, 2008. Thanks to the many whom I have already heard from. With the schedule being clearer, would you also let me know which classes your Junior Company member will be taking. I also need to know if you will not be returning.

Thank you for taking the time to get this back to me by Friday.
