The Christmas season is fast approaching us, and I wanted to get some info to you. I am looking forward to sharing in our Christmas celebration with your families. We are working on inviting some groups to our program. We have contacted both Copley Place (assisted living) and Harvest Home and invited them. We will be having an intermission during the 3:30 program to teach all the children (that would like to learn) in the audience a little dance. We also have plans to take our information to other nursing homes, etc. We would really like to reach out to the community with our program - which we have changed up a bit. If you have any group that you would like to have invited, please feel free to do so. We have lots of room in Firestone's Auditorium and it is free. Please be praying for this event as well as the weather.
Please re-read the Company Guidelines to make sure that you know the times, and commitment that you hold for our Christmas Celebration. Highlights of the guidelines can be found at the bottom of this letter.
Friday, December 5, 2008- 2p.m. - Copley Place - Rothrock Road (close to Berean). We will be having a small dance presentation for them, as well as Christmas carols (less than an hour). I would like all of the Companies to dance at least one piece if we can get enough dancers from each group. Please let me know right away if you would be able to attend.
Refreshment servers for both the afternoon and evening celebrations. Please let me know by Monday, December 1, if you will be able to serve. Ashley Heston from my church has offered to be our refreshment coordinator for both celebrations, but she will still need other hands to assist her and help serve. Let me know which show you or someone from your family can serve, set-up and clean-up.
Christmas Cookies - I would like each family to provid 6 dozen cookies for our time of refreshments. This is such a special way to fellowship following each of our presentations. Please bring them or send them with your children to the rehearsal on Saturday.
Invitations . We have invitations (e-mails, posters & post cards) to be passed out. Let me know if you need any more or have somewhere to post one of the posters.
All Company members need to bring their dinner to both Friday's rehearsal and Satruday Celebration, and eat between presentations.
On Saturday, between programs, the Boy's Modern (Devin & Eli) will be required to go out for the dinner hour with their family and returned for the evening presentation. We will also need them to sit with family members during the times that they are not dancing or doing drama.
